Better ride this bike without a crash gaurd.. the stock one is junk.. will never save your leg, maybe will bend with your leg in it.. even mine broke automatically at same point and I got it welded.. it is useless, but I have it fixed just for my peace of mind.

Please help me find best possible choice in current date.

    Place : Mumbai
    Cost : around INR 2k

    Thanks!
One of good option is CEAT SPORTS VERTIGO 100/90 X 17. Tubeless, no decrease in mileage, gives heavy look to bike(as this is quite wide and bigger than stock tyre). I changed to it about one month back and it has got good grip on sand/wet roads.

It should cost around 1800 ( including fitting).

Other option is MRF Zapper 100/90 X 17. All features same as CEAT but heard it offers not so great grip on sand/wet roads. Cost would be same as CEAT.

First of all Twister crash guard is very flimsy. No point going for another one from show room. Just weld that area and use it until you get better quality
    after market crash guard.
Yes all the crash guards are made up of steel tubes and black ones are powder coated or black painted.

friends, Honda has launched a 2013 Dream Yuga With HET. This is a slightly modified version of original twister engine that gives 2kmpl more. I think Honda may bring this "HET" engine on Twister as well in coming months...so new twister owners will get 2kmpl more. See...they are similiar in way that both questions are incomplete. Which one is better , Yamaha or Honda ? what are parameters to compare them ? Reliability, mileage, after sales support, spare parts, Value For Money, maintenance cost............list goes on buddy.

both are good. Yamaha gives priority to getting maximum performance out from their bikes where as Honda try to maintain balance between performance and fuel efficiency.
