This is exactly same issue as I experienced some days back. Some questions for you now:Originally posted by smartrider View PostThese days my ride is having a jerky throttle response. When I open the gas,the bike picks up with an underpowered jerk initially & gets normal. This defect shows up in all the 4 gears.I don't think this is normal.
a. Is it happening for first 2-3 KMs when you start bike or is it always happening ?
b. have you filled from "NOT" your regular petrol bunk recently ?
c. Is it taking more efforts than usual to start bike than before ?

Re: The Honda CB Twister
I changed rear shoes at 32k. On removal and inspection, they werent even half worn but were 3 years old and braking response had reduced even after sanding with sandpaper, so bought a new set. Since it is a critical part and we dont have disc brakes, I didnt want to take chances. Even the wear indicator hadn't moved much. The front brake shoe is the same, it is fine. Cost some 170rs if my memory is correct.Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostFriend at what speedo reading you changed the brake shoes, Mine too crossed 35k kms but not yet replaced the shoes.
