    Just to confirm, what I wanted to ask is ....is this power loss feel is present only for first 2-3 KMs of ride ?

    My answers:

    a. NO,it's there in all the gears,but only at lower RPMs.

    b. NO

    c. NO,bike starts with a single kick,even with the kicker half way down.

    I feel power loss at lower RPMs.

    This is exactly same issue as I experienced some days back. Some questions for you now:

    a. Is it happening for first 2-3 KMs when you start bike or is it always happening ?

    b. have you filled from "NOT" your regular petrol bunk recently ?

    c. Is it taking more efforts than usual to start bike than before ?

    I changed rear shoes at 32k. On removal and inspection, they werent even half worn but were 3 years old and braking response had reduced even after sanding with sandpaper, so bought a new set. Since it is a critical part and we dont have disc brakes, I didnt want to take chances. Even the wear indicator hadn't moved much. The front brake shoe is the same, it is fine. Cost some 170rs if my memory is correct.
