  • Raid De Himalaya 2008!

The above photos depict fellow biker Vivek Sharma's recent victories in recent times in 2008 in offroad events, notably Sjoba and The Shimla Motorcycle Challenge.

This is to convey my best wishes to fellow biker Vivek Sharma who has left last week for the reconnaissance of the Raid route and their scrutiny of the bikes begin in just one day. He is participating in GroupD with his trusty Zma. His technical backup is by Jitender from Gautam Motors.

I wish Vivek Sharma all the best.

I am not aware of other fellow xBhp-ians participating. If anyone else is aware, I hope they are presented here. Let us keep this thread for the possible 2008 Raid updates and results.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

just curious and would definitely like gyaan here - what mods have been done to the zma to make it fit for this?

He is in Group D. Hence no mods other than Headlights, Console, Fairing and Tyres.

                Edit: And Handlebars.

In Group D you are not allowed more than that. Anything more, you are in Group C.

I'm taking this thread way OT, but curiosity is getting me ...! was just wondering how to improve the zma's performance on these roads...have just thought about free flow filters without any upjetting so far, but would be interested in any other tricks.

If you could PM me (links to) any resources, I would be very thankful
