    Could be up by monday

I spoke with the "Preethi CSS India" and they have confirmed that the site is currently under construction and could be up by monday. They took my details and said they would call me & inform when the site is ready for registration.

      @tenhut

Im really interested in this event.
I will participate from L1 -L4 on the last three days.

I have a query regarding boots.
Do they have to be proper riding boots or some good leather shoes will be fine?

If proper riding boots are required then its gonna be tough cause boots are really costly and will not be practical to use on a daily basis so hence the doubt.

      Thanks

              CSS uniform

I see a lot of ppl interested in knowing what kind of riding gears are allowed / not allowed. The following is straight from "Preethi CSS India" site:

"9) Our minimum riding gear requirements are: Leather jacket & pants or leather one piece suit (armored textile clothing allowed), leather motorcycle gloves (overlapping suit sleeves), full face helmet, and full height leather motorcycle boots that overlap the leather pants (no work boots or runners allowed). "

To read about all the other policies of CSS India, please visit:

the rest of this post is going to be in capital letter becasue I actually am shouting!!!

THIS IS THE BEST POSSIBLE THING YOU CAN DO AS A RIDER BUT THAT IS NOT EVEN THE BEST THING ABOUT IT.

THE MOST SILLY THING IS THE COST OF THE ACTUAL SCHOOL . FOR 5 DAYS THERE YOU WILL BE PAYING 25K WHICH IS PEANUTS AS ONE SCHOOL IN AUSTRALIA COST 500 DOLLARS WHICH EQUATES TO 25K

WHAT MAKES IT ALL EVEN BETTER IS THE FACT THAT THE COACHES THERE ARE THE BEST THAT CSS HAS FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

SO IF YOU HAVE THE SLIGHTEST CHANCE TO DO THIS, DO IT!!!! NOT DOING IT WOULD PROBABLY BE THE MOST STUPID THING IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!

                            I'm in too...

I'm in too from bangalore on 28,29 & 30...Is there anyone else who has already registered on these dates from Bangalore?

Regarding the payment, I spoke with the "Preethi" guys and the lady over there (her name is sreedevi) informed me to pay the amount by a DD because online transfer feature could take another week to be enabled.

Hamish and Andy ? hahahah...creme de la creme of CSS is coming down to India ! Its just madness.
A day at CSS in Australia will cost 500 AUD yeah, thats not including the safety deposit for leathers and the bike...nor the air ticket to Australia. Now deposit is something that one gets back yeah but if its to the tune of 1000 AUD it still matters
Rs15k for all three levels and that includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and FUEL.

                              Madness ? THIS IS CSS
I just hope I get Andy as my coach, again

Any luck? I called up their help line yesterday. A woman answered, she put me on hold a for couple of minutes, then said the concerned authority is not present. She asked me to give my name and number and promised to call back.
I haven't received any calls yet.
