Some sort of charity races on equal bikes would be just wow.
And here ! There are guys who are brilliant on big bikes the 600 and 1000 way and a few the 2 stroke way !

    Imagine this:

250 cc Identical aprillias You can tune and setup the way you want:

    3 Aliens + Marq marquez + simo + Max B + Barbera + Bautista

    A sprint race with just 8 - 10 laps ! like a feeder class

    A production based 1000cc race: Aproper 20 + lap race !

    Bayliss + Mladin + Rossi + Hayden + SPies + Hopper + Colin + Younger Haga + etc etc

    Ha.. I m dreaming !
    BAYLISSTIC !!!!

Having Identical Bikes would help the most...taking the dream further ahead...Imagine four(five) aliens on the same machine...say RC212V...

@sciics: I fear that the fuel limit and tyres would not let the GP to be as close fought as WSBK

      • GP will get there for sure. it has to. its not about the Fuel Limit and Tyres.

they get same sets and engines are more capable in getting the job done. dont remember last time when someone ran out of fuel in GP or WSBK.

GP will certainly get there for sure. they will keep on experimenting till they get the right formula. much like what happened with WSBK and then formula 1 followed suite. GP is going the same way.

dont get me started with Moto2. its fun to watch and talented riders from everywhere 'but no cigar'. i want kawa, ktm, yams, harleys, beemers all there with their prototype. >

        • Identical Bikes Agreed. But I rather say all get the bike which suits them perfectly. So that they dont have to complain about their set-up and tyre stuff.

          Like Moto2... Chassis issue :|

                  • Will be rooting for Hooper this race.

espnstar has gone crazy, they just don't what time to allot for a race & even they allot a time, they don't show. As of now, the time allotted is 1pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday.

what do they plan to show? Warm up?

Hoppers time was faster than Alvaro's time from MotoGP. I have to admit. Hopper pulled it off. no fluke there..

Hope there is a 4- way ex GP riders fight. add toseland too ...

They aren't showing anything and have rescheduled the timings to 12am Monday.

I hope all 3 club together & take Biaggi out.

                              • It seems Checa would finally be a world champion this '11.

John Hopkins ; The guy can still ride quick and slug it out with the top guys. He needs a couple more races to warm himself up-to racing and if he continues racing in which ever class he wishes and comes in '12 for WSBK championship, I predict him to be in top 5.
He didn't let his position up easily and put up a good fight. Later either fatigue or tire problems slowed him down, though his result was consistent and his effort should be lauded.

Biaggi and Melandri really slug it out and touched on an occasion or two. It just gets better.

Michel Fabrizio a brilliant rider in his own and was quite good in '09 with Ducati, is ordinary on Suzuki this far. Hooper's results just make it that more special.
