Hope you had find the answer for this because I am now in same situation as you were years ago.. Your each words on the forum is same for me just I am in now final year. Just one year left. As carrier I also want to choose motorsports as profession. And till now in India there is no scope for Motorsport and no results over internet also.. i am dissapointed to say that nothing turned up.all the companies needed. experience.all i could find is some random jobs in service centers which will lead u to nowhere.consider this..there are lakhs of engineers graduating each year.some brighter..some get through holds in high places.and race engineer is as complex as it can get.it demands the most experinced and brightest innovators.regarding racing as career..well..u may have a chance if u r anywhere near in coimbatore or chennai.from wat i have learnt... oh..and cash at ur dispense.or a supportive parents with deep pockets and free mind..:thumbup:i learned it the hard way..now i am in a frantic race to earn.u need money..whether for reg fee, riding gear, repairs, whatever it maybe...that is..at just weekend racer level.regarding full time career..i dont know dude.u may ask the experienced senior members here.i am not discouraging you.you can take it as a report on the current state of things.so my humble advice to u will be..start earning.a job soon after your graduation will be ideal.watever the profession.so u better study well and come out with good grades so that u will end up in a good job.the more u earn, the more chance u have got.and make it quick.time is speeding away..good luck.oh..and btw..will update you .if anything turns up that is.

        Hello
Sorry for jumping off thread but this what troubles me in India ..
I have a very very deep love for cars, bikes ,ice ,etc but the level of saturation this field has worries me..

My heart says me to go for mechanical engineering or automobile engineering but i doubt whether i will get a job in core sector or not
But i will definitely try it..
