Very nice introduction. Thanks a lot for sharing
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Friday:
We (My sister, brother in law – fellow Xbhpian, my nephew and I) reached the venue little after 9 on Friday morning hoping not to miss anything what the day holds, main attraction being the Pitwalk! The first practice session of Moto3 was going on and we could hear them loud and clear and having in mind what many advised on wearing ear plugs including R-series, so our first job was to find a store to buy them and we got it at the entrance itself. I have been to our national racing championships many times since one of my family friends is a 7 time national champion including multiple Group C (regarded as the pinnacle of Indian Motorcycling championship that time) category Champion. Group C bikes used to make lot of noise and 7 – 8 on the grid together felt awesome but even those machines are no match to what these 250s make. I wondered how the 2 stroke - 125s and the 250s used to sound. The motogp machines were on a different plane altogether
the Ducatis being the best sounding machines, Honda being too Hondaish (smooth and nice), Yamahas being a big disappointment having an unusual extra “putter”.
The gates to Motogp – The entrance
Just posing as the greats!
First glimpse of the Legend – Rossi leaving the pits for his first set of laps
The World Champion – Jorge Lorenzo
Rossi gets ready to go for his second set of laps
Lorenzo too
The Doctor
After taking few clicks I went to the end of the main grand stand to witness the action at turn 15, the last corner of the circuit. It was fun and was very surprised to see the guys going wayward all the time and not hitting the mark which clearly indicates that these guys try out lot of things mainly being braking power during the practice runs. Here are a few pictures taken at turn 15:

The long queue after us
I came running to this garage which was at the very end to only to the crew and not the rider
Lorenzo’s garage door was shut all throughout the session
Me and my sister waiting with the posters they gave hoping Rossi wouldn’t disappoint us but all that we saw of him was for a few seconds, he came in spoke with Burgess and left after waving to us
. Makky, That's when I felt how lucky you are
The pits: It was surreal to be standing there and most of the 1500 were at Rossi’s garage
View of the grand stands from the Pits
Andrea Iannone seemed to be a very friendly guy
There ended our first day, very exciting but was a little disappointing not to have met Rossi. Saturday special follows…Young riders pick a destination and go, Old riders pick a direction and go !

So, the thread is up! T15 photos are brilliant, man.
Rossi's style is smooth. Lorenzo's is a bit scary. It's as if, he hates being 'on' the bike. Spectacular lean angle, man. And it looked like #93 was posing for you!
So, will you get lucky on Sat? Bring it on!

Very well observed! Yes even we all felt Rossi's style is very smooth compared to all the others and the most aggressive is Marquez's. The rest will follow soonOriginally posted by Makky View Post@shelton_jh

, I don't know how I missed this thread.
Great pics. The one with Rossi's bike standing outside the garage is of "wallpaper" standard.
I actually missed qualifying cos I was roaming outside and clicking pics of these monsters displayed there. I didn't want to miss capturing anyone of them (I'm sure I would have
)
Your shots in the corner are impressive as well. I understand that since you have captured it so many times with different riders, then you would have learned the technique to click in corners very well
Nice write up. Motogp was never a popular sport neither in India nor at most of our homes. More or less we can all relate to your story.
Thanks again for sharing and keep them coming(already excited while typing). Don't miss the videos
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

I know what you mean you lucky @#$%#@Originally posted by Makky View PostWouldn't wanna go to Sepang. Looks scary, man! Way too many people!

. I'm already looking for tracks to visit next year where they allow people inside the track on Thursdays and that too near the paddock, pits, motorhomes basically everywhere!

Sunday: Race Day!
Had such an awesome Friday and Saturday sessions and couldn’t wait for the race day! And here we were to witness something I’ve always wanted to. We started early and made sure we got the right seats right in front of the starting grid and the big screen so that we dint miss the action at the rest of the corners which we couldn't see.
The gorgeous BMWs
Few pics from the morning WUP:
Let the Races begin!
Ana Carrasco: The girl who has amazed many with her ability to compete at the highest level
Rossi doing his routine of witnessing the Moto3 start
I was rooting for both the Mahindra Racing team riders Miquel Oliveira and Efren Vazquez and the only girl on the grid Ana. Wanted to see one of the Mahindra riders on the podium and Ana to score her first points in Motogp. Both happened
Turn 5
Podium celebrations: Moto3
Scot Redding: My favourite from Moto2
Hafizh Syahrin: The local favourite
Ant West: Used to be one of my favourites – Rain Master
Pasini: Never thought he would falter so badly in the 4strokes
Look at the nice looking bike of Axel Pons on the right
Axel Pons's bike after the horrible crash
And finally it was time for the ultimate!

The whole Media gang was there!
The helicopter Shot!
The start is an event to witness, Guys I urge you not to miss something like this if you are a big Motogp fan. I removed my ear plugs to listen to the music these machines produced. It was insane!
The race winner
Jorge Lorenzo: After an awesome fight with Marquez

Did you also get to hear that Ducati go "kaput"?
Amazing pics man...you've like covered the whole weekend. Got more of those cornering shots. These bikes look best in corners and it's interesting analyzing the different cornering styles.
