    Track day on june 21st at Chennai

    Planning for a track day on June 21st. we have 4 confirmed riders outside this forum. Anybody in?

    Venue : MMSC (chennai)
    Time : morning session (pay and practice)
    Cost 400 bucks.

    We are planning to ride on saturday evening from bangalore, stay near the track and start real early on Sunday morning. heard the heat is pretty unbearable in chennai now, so no use staying in the afternoon.

    The R15 championship starts on 28th so it's always better to get some practice for us newbies here. ping me if u need directions or any info on the track.

            yes the date is 21st sunday, as the track is open for pay and practice only on sundays. we have the R15 championship on 28th so this is the only date available this month. just wanted to get some track time, before the rains start in Chennai. wet riding is not my cup of tea. try your fz on the track, tou'll have fun for sure....

                We dont have any registration forms available for riders from Mangalore, but i met a service engineer from yamaha at the SC today and he said i can participate and he'll mail a reg form to the dealership so i could sign up. but then i just have to ride down to blore and the bike will be transported from there.

                So i want to know how often in the R15 championship event held? does anyone know when was the last event or how many months down the line we'll have another such event coming up? I need to buy some riding gear before i hit to tracks as well.

                  check this link. but the dates may vary. for instance yamaha says the next event is on july 5th, but later it was confirmed to be on 28th june.

                              And u thot 350 kms would make a huge difference! Didn't u? Its actually as hot as May...consistent 38- 41 degrees C.
