Expected that from you ! I hope Rossi does try WSBK atleast for one weekend.

And Haga n Fabrizio watchout and try to safeguard your places, This guy can win and sell more bikes than you both.

So 1-2 for the Yams. now for some reason. my turning into an aprilia fan race by race. i think South Africa will pretty much shape up the championship:

              1 35 Crutchlow C. (GBR) Yamaha YZF R1 1'37.243
              2 52 Toseland J. (GBR) Yamaha YZF R1 1'37.260
              3 7 Checa C. (ESP) Ducati 1098R 1'37.296
              4 84 Fabrizio M. (ITA) Ducati 1098R 1'37.368
              5 91 Haslam L. (GBR) Suzuki GSX-R1000 1'37.401

that qualifying looked to be extremely close

Hey Suren, I am Sneh Madhur. My fetish for WSBK is not quite old.
Watched Race 1 and screwed my exams, which was scheduled at 5pm
Couldn't find any feed for Race 2.

as races aren't aired we practically have nothing much to discuss

                      • Sorry fellas, I again managed to get under a proverbial rock, again.

For a change I could see WSBK race 1, Supersports and WSBK race 2. Race 1 and WSS races were streamed live but Eurosport could telecast the race 2 with a 2.5 hour delay.

I managed to find a link and I hope the kind ppl hosting the stream continue to telecast all the WSBK races in the future.

Going forward I will put up the link on this thread so all of us can watch the races, if it is permit able of course.

Now lets talk abt the races, in race 1 Fabrizio rode away from everybody. Its increasingly looking like Haga has lost it/demotivated. This was supposed to be the weekend where he was supposed to turn it around. Sadly it did not happen and it pains me so much.

Race 2 was a cracker, I thot Rhea would just run away but then kudos to Haslam. What a rider he is turning out to be this year. The Aprilia's managed to salvage decent haul of points considering this track does not suit their bike. Well done Biaggi. Looks like its gonna be Haslam vs Biaggi for the title with Honda of Rhea and Yamaha's of Crutchlow and Toseland trying to steal points from them.

The other piece of news that I came across WSBK.com website that ESPN STAR to telecast races in Asia. I don't know if that translates to Live races for us starved Indians.

                        Cheers

                        • Twin benefit!

I am intentionally putting up this piece in a separate post.

From the next round onwards all twin cylinder bikes will get a weight reduction as it is deemed that the 4 cylinder machines hold an edge over the twin cylinder machines.

As a result of this, the new minimum weight all twin cylinder bikes is 165 kgs as opposed to 168 kgs earlier. The minimum weight for 4 cylinder bike remains at 162 kgs (wow!!).

                          Linky here.

                          • About Live Telecast:

Nope not in India. a Separate department takes care of programming for India. so bad Luck. yes its difficult to find a live stream. p2p normally show it,

lets hope the football WC programming keeps out interfering the races. Next Stop Miller... no need to worry about clashing programs for that one.
