Haga has always been inconsistent ! How can someone lose a 82 point lead ???? And now it looks like the show is all over !

And who could be the next Japanese in WSBK ! hmm Hiroshi Aayoma in WSBK riding for a Honda hows that !

I don't think Haga alone is to blame for not winning the c'ship. Xerox Ducati mgmt also messed up a few times when they let Fabrizio who was never in the title hunt to win over Haga. IIRC correctly it happend twice. Yes Haga could be a little more consistent but then thats they way he has been since the beginning of his career.

He even had a crash at Monza when he hit a bird or something, that injured him and he was not at his best for the next couple of races.

It also did not help matters that Haga and Ducati came across a dominant combination of Ben Spies and Yamaha R1.
All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

        are you serious Hiren?

i think the best rider wins,
forget the fact that Ben's R1 wasn't as reliable as other m'cycles

the excitement was too much for me to refrain from posting again.....I mean Bayliss coming back and straight away breaking the lap record.....thats amazing....maybe a certain Mr. Schumacher should try and learn to do something like that....

I feel Sad for Haga...., he is a great rider, still isn't able to achieve much.....always ends up behind someone...(like spies last year).... I would love it if he starts winning again.....

P.S.- maybe Haga is jinxed...maybe somebody used some black magic on him.....like Rossi did on Gibernau...,

I am dead serious mate. Any form of motorsports is a team game at the end of the day. I am not saying that teams should prefer 1 particular rider/driver right from the first race.

I am talking about a situation where one driver is in with a solid chance to win the c'ship and the other rider/driver is not and it was this situation last year with Haga and Fabrizio. Get my point?

I totally agree that the best rider wins and Spies was that rider last year. IIRC, the R1 was very reliable barring a race where they ran out of fuel on the last lap.

It was just a case of almost there but not quite.

@Kingkong: Well the Schumacher analogy does not quite fit here. The bike that Bayliss rode before he retired is not quite different to what Haga and Fabrizio are riding now.

I am gutted seeing Haga just making up the numbers. I am at my wits end figuring out what's going on with him.

            Cheers

            • I do understand your POV Hiren, but I somehow can't get myself to accept it,

I value a race more than the championship, yes Rossis and Troys do love them but...

Dude but i think Haga had said that he did nt want any team orders to make him win. I m damn sure about this comment he made and it was put in crash and MCN !

                  • Race 1 was going to suck untill Checca looked like he ran out of fuel (2 laps from Finish)... handing win to Max.B. good to see Haga on the podium. haslam did a good job on Camier. Camier looked he was losing tires...

                    Bring on Race2.

Could not see a single lap of the race. Hopefully I can find it somewhere on the net.

Why a thumbs down for Checa? His bike gave up on him when he was leading. Not his fault is it?

                            • Sheel & Hen. Shane dint seem to have the same problem. hence Checca gets a thumbs down. his bad luck. but then again. the championship got a lot hotter.

anyway i have given some hints on how to watch wsbk live on the computer. minium spped 256 kbps. get sopcast and then try this link just before the race. has worked so far for me.
