Also coming back to the topic, ever noticed how the crashes have becum more often now a days. Last few races have seen so many slides. Especially considering both lorenzo and Stoner crashed while having the throttle off !! I think there is a massive let up of in quality of the Bridgestones !!
I think there have to be more choices of compounds available, as has been reiterated by lots of racers !! As Nickey Hayden said, they have removed qualifiers saying that racing will be closer, but these races are such that having a good grid position is an absolute must so, theywill obviously push to get the best grid !! Movie is "The Watchmen", Match seems to be rain-washed, Hopefully no crashes in MotoGP today!!
Regarding the Bridgestones, "Both Lorenzo and Stoner said that the reason for their qualifying crashes today is mismanagement of the dual compound rear Bridgestone tire, saying it is too hard on the right hand side and wasn't allowed to warm up to operating temperature. Both said that they crashed off the gas and inferred that with Laguna being a circuit with so many left hand bends that Bridgestone needs a softer compound rear for this track.
