If Honda sells 6% stake, it still holds 20%, which still is a good share. Selling a mere 6% out of 26% will not stop Honda from giving its technology to Hero Honda. Giving technology to HH is entierely different than Honda having stake in HH.

Moreover, Honda is earning lots of money from Hero Honda. I do not think anybody would kick a cow that gives milk.

Yes they both are together but the currents relation is certainly different to what was earlier. I stress here on technical aspects especially the engine and the design. Bajaj brought Pulsar engine after a bye-bye to Kawasaki. Other success stories include the best selling Discover, segment leader Avenger(though design is of Eliminator still), XCD, etc. And dont forget it was after Kawasaki that Bajaj got indulged in experiments, that failed like the hooodibaba bike, decision to shut off their 100cc bikes, etc. That didnt happen with HH. On technical terms I see Bajaj , more close to KTM than Kawasaki.
To be in simple words..all i see is that Hero&Honda, Baj & Kawak part 1 and Baj-Kawak part 2...all three collaboration are distinct and different though they might borrow from each other is varying degrees and aspects
            Nailed it....!

So anyone game for an obituary ride for HH
Jokes apart, I guess Hero Motors will come to rescue... but like it or not Goliath has got its blow!
