      So just one race track record makes this bike the "fastest road racing Superbike on the planet"... Really?

      Something is not right... I feel I am being taken for a ride, by this confusing piece of news title.

      BTW Was the BMW S1000R also a part of the race?

          How can fastest average lap speed make it fastest bike
          Fastest bike has to be highest top speed, in unrestricted conditions (straight-line)!!
          This report makes it the quickest bike around the track. Thats it.
