  • a sad demise

Japanese rider Shoya Tomizawa has died as a result of injuries sustained in today's Moto2 race at Misano.

The 19-year-old was running fourth when he crashed in front of Alex de Angelis and Scott Redding, and was hit at speed by both riders.

i saw him racing in many races he was a talented rider taken away at a very young age.

deepest condolences to all his family members and friends.

may he always rest in peace....

Happened to see the crash on TV. Was really disheartening to read in the Moto GP thread that Tomizawa succumbed to it.
May his soul Rest In Peace.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

I looked horrendous the moment it happened.
I was screaming no, no, no when I saw it Live.

RIP Shoya, you will be missed. My condolences to his friends and family.

My heart also goes out to Redding and Angelis. I can't even imagine to think what they must be going through, may you find the strength.
