[OFFICIAL]: Yamaha unveils Midnight Special Limited Edition FZ Series Bikes
The midnight edition is available on the fazer too... Saw it at the Yamaha showroom when i was there to buy my R15 too bad it didnt occur to me to take the pics as i was in a hurry to get back home
It may sound funny to you guys but just a few days ago when me & couple of my friends visited a Yamaha showroom at south mumbai, I saw this midnight special FZ-S & inquired about any performance upgrades over the current FZ that I ride but it was denied by the salesperson & he even failed to mention that kicker has been added in this one. On inquiring the price, we were told Rs 90,000.. We all just laughed on his face righ there & my friend bluntly replied back 'R u guys seriously thinking its gonna sell at that price?'
Salesperson replied, 'Arre sir dus din ruko, aapko yeh bike dikhegi bhi nahi yaha par' We wished him good luck & left
Personally even I'm tired of these so called limited editions/special edition bikes by Honda/Yamaha etc now with just cosmetic upgrades..
But these bikes do sell easily coz there is already enough stable demand always for these bikes & few customers like myself actually willing to buy a particular model gets lucky if limited edition is launched at same time when they are planning to buy one..
Anyways in my personal opinion, previous Limited edition of Yamaha FZ/S & fazer were a tad better then this one.. Still its all same under the hood so does'nt really make much of a difference.
i agree with you bro.. there are still a lot of stupid sales guys who don't know s#*t about bikes or variants... even though there is enough training and knowledge given to them both by the company and the dealership still they reamain dumbass salesmen.
anyways YAMAHA has launched this MIDNIGHT FZ AND FAZER with a price RS 3000/- more than the regular variants.. this is for the Diwali season and will be available in limited numbers only. The kicker on the bike is like a trial run as there are a lot of feedback from customers askin why there is no kicker provided and at thi price there has to be a kicker well well well some times its tough to make people understand.
Personally i feel the FZ & Fazer LE look supercool and are going to be sold before anyone realises.
@ivinay... congrats for your new bike buddy. Welcome to the Yamaha family.
Its a great bike..
My friend bought it. The 504th bike of the 1000 and its the best fz Ltd edition ever. The kick lever looks like a black viper and it would be nice if the standard black fz came with the matt black silencer.
