Although the bike hasnt changed, the colour seems to have. The red shade looks like a new, brighter one. Always wanted a change from that dull red shade. And the carbon fibre graphics pattern also looks good..

Guess the white colour is now the only distinguishing factor.Originally posted by srini View Postthe graphics looks really cool..but was expecting something more especially since an apache upgrade was on cards.now the rtr180 looks almost like the hyper edge due to the rear fender...

Nope.
4V
Never.
Oil cooler (can expect LC too) with this the smoothness will be addressed
Not on this one.
i hope there will not be change in power train with the same 5 speed
Yes no change @ all.
with a improved set of tyres which were recently tested in the TVS tyres madurai to help a good traction in road as well track.......
That might be right coz i saw fresh tires than the rtr 160.
power should be up by (a guess work) hmmmmm less than or = 1 bhp say it may do close to 17 hp
That sux man
. Same 15.2 bhp.
but the acceleration should be pinning like any thing if the above mentioned changes are made...
I don't think so.
let us see what will be the final spec
Same old rtr with new stickers.

A little change of stickers and rear fender... and the RTR becomes the Hyper Edge? What a joke!

This is a wild theory that I read somewhere. The article said that it is a design fault (with regard to the double cradle synchrostiff chassis) that results in the vibes and that can only be corrected with a brand new chassis. At the most, vibes can be minimized but not eliminated.
So unless, TVS develops a new chassis the vibes remain an integral part of the machine. In any case, I feel TVS has a beautiful design for a bikini faired bike. Now it needs to move on to other segments - maybe build a naked design, or a fully faired one (even a half faired one will do) or a cruiser.

So, thats it. TVS too going theHH way. Fantastic. And as said, no vibes and/or better tyres is definitely a welcome upgrade. Still hoping..Originally posted by satajit.2009 View Post2day had a test ride of da bike its da same old rtr160 except GT stripes r changed , rear fender is 4rm rtr180 n no change is specs n price is also da same
