@manan, why don't you put the speculation about the specs for the bike to rest as well?

First smart reply on this issue...what matters is the bike and not the pic...

BTW...to close this disputed argument...all the arrangements were of TVS and that is very true along with camera and all technical support, I just had got the opportunity to press the click on camera. nothing more can be disclosed....

That being said, TVS has made no fan-fare about all this, so far.
from what I am getting to hear now: its a BS3 or 4 compliant bike with a lil bit of tuning and a better performance curve.... thats why the name I guess...
BTW Are there any other BS4 bikes now?

In this way any tom, dick or harry can claim that it wasnt clicked by him.

But when we know that he has been one such person who has got the max and most concrete info from TVS since ages, probably you when you wern't here even. we would believe that these are his pics as these also being posted by the mods after seeing something!

You need to be more confident before you come up to point at someone who is 10x times of what you are here!
Hope you take it as an understanding!

Open up the engine and you will see small tidbits which makes a lot of sense, like a different alloy screw and bolt...a small change in design and so on!!!
Ofcourse they cant be advertised, but then if TVS never advertised these changes earlier and are doing so now, I am more than keen to know what all changed!

I had written something in the speculation thread about what Manan had written about the bike... So I guess it makes sense waiting for the detailed log...

PS: You are quoting from someone who just speculated...
PPS: Its a 160 upgrade and the old 160 would be phased out now...
Exactly. It was the same case with the A150 too, there was quite a difference between Feb'06 manufactured A150s(initial batches) and the post-Nov'06 models. Throttle response and the engine grunt was quite different and were a major improvement over the initial models. And very few people knew about it as TVS never advertised it.

About the Hyperedge we are yet to get official technical specs but i am sure TVS wont share it as they would like to keep it to themselves and let the bike do the talking. If Manan's review is anything to go by, the added refinement would only be possible if TVS has tinkered with the engine/mountings. There might not be revision with the power ratings but i believe the difference will be as much as i have noticed in two different versions of A150.

Food for Speculation: Even the RTR 180 uses the silencer where the exhaust(head) mountings are same as that of the Flame.

    +100 to satyen

Do u guys know how many changes RTR had during these years? I know coz almost half these changes went into my bike which is why even after 57k kms of absolute ri(a)ping....it still kicks ass!

alloys were upgraded thrice(for better braking), one way clutch too, throttle cable, cam shafts, suspensions, bar end weights, silencer, lights, cylinder head etc.....as satyen said ride them to beleive it

"But I must say this bike has come up ...with some great technological upgrades to meet the new emission norms and better grunt with more usable power and torque....It's a fun toy to ride...it has been always a pocket rocket and this time with lesser vibes and better refinement"
So I guess it makes sense waiting for the detailed log...
