When Pulsar 150's latest avatar (the one with 15 BHP) was launched the Pulsar Showroom manager said similar thing to me that only change is the clip on handlebar and no engine change has been there. These people see bikes only as a source of their income and are not as much emotional about it as we are. So just ignore what they say and insist on test driving the Hyperedge only.

I had a similar experience too when I went to check out the RTR 160 Hyperedge.

I kept on asking him, if he can give me the actual Hyper Edge for test ride and he kept on saying that the Hyper Edge is there with the show room, but since there is no difference between RTR 160 and the Hyper Edge, I better ride RTR 160.

I suspect if an ABS kit for a two wheeler will cost the same as that for a four-wheeler for simply one reason..

A car has four wheels and hence needs four sensors and thus the corresponding higher complexity in the system.. But a bike will need only two sensors ( if at all Indian cos provide them ).. Hence i think a REALISTIC view-point might be a 5-6k price rise compared to Non-ABS bikes..

This is just my calculation.. If anyone else knows better, pl share.. I'm willing to learn..
