Business or whatever, now I've a different outlook towards Mahindra; respects.

Every BIKE has a lot of speed in it. The trick is getting the speed out of it.

        • So what happened here....Joel would like to hear more must have been a great experience and I am sure it must make you feel proud. It makes me feel good just knowing you are there.
Mahindra Racing did pretty good for its first time in GP...at least IMHO. I wonder if we could see a 125cc bike from Mahindra in the market with some serious power....now that they have a motogp team it should not be tuff.

Great stuff all this for the Indian motorsports.

              • Well, the Indian motorsport scene is far from being anywhere close to world standards. The less said the better. Having faced and experienced some tough times with the Indian racing scenario, I'll keep my mouth shut.
Its as bad as the political scene of this country. Nothing is spared from corruption or monopoly.
The GP was a very good inititaive and having been a part of the program, it was indeed disheartening to see the demise of a great idea, due to lack of funds.
Having groomed a talented rider - Sarath Kumar, getting him his 2010 National champion title, mentoring, training etc I am glad I was part of a great effort. However, lack of funding and timelines not being met, did not help us make it to the 2011 season, in full. With different goals, we all parted in our own ways to do our own bits in life. I started Race Concepts. Ramji, still owns the brand - Ten10 Racing and Sarath Kumar has now joined Mahindra Racing.
Within us, we still share our memories and all those beautiful moments we had, in India and overseas.

I'm personally involved in racing full-time and we compete in the National championships. Having moved to cars as well, we have opened ourselves to a whole new world of challenges. With little time spent on the cars, we managed to bag our first ever podium in the last round of the JK National Championship. Looking forward for 2012.

The pic above was taken when we were at Sepang, in discussion with the motogp team that we partnered with - WTR Team - for the 2011 season. Thats K.Rajini, me and Sarath Kumar. Behind the lens was Killer.
