Frankly, this looks like a modded posers bike.Gone is the elegance and class of an RE.The simple design is a classic.

@ankit - dude, that's a good find ...the bike's look alikeness with Knievel's HD, is sort of obvious...I fret RE won't try to prove it's their own brain child...

Motorsport is fun. Safety is a mandate. Be in shape & ride long

Man..!! that was one bloody bloody cool bike. Painted in military camouflage theme, it could never be tagged either as a cruiser or an offroader. A pure fusion.

If something like that was RE people thought this is, I feel pitty for them. Nothing less than BULLSHIT.

The Cruiser + Dirt looks are awesome...look at the perfection of the OCC guys....they look at each and every bolt and nut to work on....the price is paid for that detailing...

            here is the OCC one.

Definitely this is an ugly bike whatever it tries to look like, and from whatever angle you look at it. That it looks like a 1940s bike, a cafe racer or a dirt bike, I don't think so, or a really badly designed one... Surely RE could design a better bike!

Don't know about the designers, but when I visited the factory this September, I spoke to someone in the panel beating workshop (not included in the factory tour) who seemed very young to be working with an angle grinder.

I am seem to be the only guy liking the looks of this bike here Especially the last pic in black. I quite like it. Would have been better if it had slightly wider tank.

                    Wonder how it performs though.

I see a lot of people not liking this model but for those uninitiated people who have a wrong impression about this bike, let me tell you that in the sixties, stock motorbikes were customised to look like this for flat track racing as well as offroading and were very popular in the UK just like modding a stock bike into a cafe racer. The boffins at RE are very much aware of the company's heritage, that is the reason why models like this one and the upcoming cafe racer are designed by them. What i would like to say is,do ur R&D before you bash a product. RE is too old a company to commit design errors though i personally like the bullet look better. cheers!

Hi, just joined the site...... Been working on my hybrid Flat Tracker for a bit. Its a rebuilt TR6R engine with a siamese hi-level pipe, new AMAL 930 in a T120V OIF frame. The running gear is (shock-horror) Jap stuff!!!!! The front end is off a Yam TDR250 - coz its an alloy spoked whe...

Now i hope that those who were not aware of flat track racers have acquired the necessary knowledge.

This thing can be made to look like a lovely street tracker with some more touch ups. something like the Harleys.

Friend RE is doing nothing. They are bringing their old design back. Here is the picture of first fury launched. It was 175 cc with alloys and disk.

And the cafe racer is also an old design. Its a copy/also known as Rickman Interceptor.Company has copied the frame.
