yes but none of them will be cruisers except maybe st7 but the price of harley is so tempting for a marquee brand

883 iron is tempting at 6.5

but I was expecting much lower prices after ckd assembly operations

^^^ 101% agreed; Iron 883 has killer looks; I too agree that with CKD, the price should've brought even lower.

Ps - Its actually correct; price of Iron 883 is around $8K. Conversion for Rs 47 works to about 3.76L. With CKD route, I assume there's only 30% tax reduction. Which means, 3.76 X 70% (100-30) = 6.4L approx

Oh Boy! I like that superlow, guess I ll have to give my c500 booking a rethink maybe that 1.5 lacs can be a down payment for my Harley instead..Is this a boyhood dream comming true. Lets hope so

I think CKD operations havent started as of now. The announcement was made during Obama's visit and its just a month since then. Also, CKD operations commencement will be a big news and that will definitely find a spot in press release.

ckd is roughly around 30% tax. but they want to cover their factory setup costs too. hence only a 30% reduction in price.

883 used to be 6.9 earlier.

HD like Reliance CDMA is not the most sought after, but when introduced, the price war it triggers would benefit us all. I like it !!

when HD announced ckd assemblies, they said prices will come down by at least 30%, ie. 6.95L less 30% comes to around 4.9L. don't know what happened in between.

not fair on the manufacturers part to keep part of the duty benefit to themselves and not pass it on completely.
