Why would I want to understand? Lol . That's not my problem. If the bikes & spares are going to be a rare sight, esp for newer model of motorcycle, then I don't want such a motorcycle. If it were for a CBU like CBR1000, then probably I can understand the parts suppliers or manufacturers are not from India.

C'mon, if I'm able to grab a sprocket of a 13 years old extinct Rx100 in a week's time, why should it take a month's time for a premium product?

Err...I'm confident to find almost any part of Maruti car that was manufactured between 2004 to 2007+. I don't think Maruti does that & I'm talking my experience & not what I heard.

Nope!!! CBR is from Honda & ZMR is from Hero group & they're parting now & there's no more relation between Honda & Hero anymore. Also comparing CBR & ZMR is not fair. Parts for CBR are not manufactured locally, while it is for ZMR. Pls compare apples to apples.

No where, but which service center did you approach? From my understanding Kun & HMP are providing good service & one needs to book a car in advance. Also, comparing the car servicing with motorcycle servicing isn't that fair.

Well, I'd say, you need to participate in healthy debates for knowledge sake. So there's nothing wrong in long posts as long as we contribute

Guys, I have couple of questions here...First, what exactly will be the brand value of Hero, once Honda is moving out as a technology partner? Secondly, will that directly influence the increase in the price of any existing product, just after the split up? One of my friend has booked for a Super Splendor and was given a 3 months of waiting period for delivery. Do you think the price that was told to him, will change in 3 months, and my friend will end up paying a little more (say, 3 - 4K)?

Motorsport is fun. Safety is a mandate. Be in shape & ride long
