It is serious, it could be a couple of months, but it is too early to say just yet.

Notice the right leg in the picture

Disheartening to say the least. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

PS: He did have the new helmet design for his home race

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                He is Champion of Champions

He is a champion racer... He will come out of this dilemma asap..

But 230 GP at a stretch is itself a record...

Wishing him a speedy recovery though..

“It’s an injury more serious than we thought, because it’s an exposed fracture with the bone protruding from the skin. We have reduced the fracture, which fortunately has not affected any blood vessels or nerves.”
Just imagining all this gives me shivers! Protruding bone??!!

God bless Valentino with a speedy recovery... I'm really saddened by this accident.

Latest reports confirm that the surgery was successful and he should be in a position to leave the hospital in 7-10 days. An evaluation will be held after six weeks to check his progress.
