    On a serious front, BAL does make...
    - Motorcycle for masses
    - Attracts the young crowd
    - Introduces new models every now & then (not through stickering ), lol
    - Have almost beat down Hero-HONDA, single handed (just BAL without Kawasaki)

    I'd attribute all these success to the the number of lessons that BAL learned over the years with Boxer, Caliber, Wind, BYK & so many other motorcycles that're not being manufactured now. Which other manufacturer has learned so many lessons? May be TVS, but that's very less compared to BAL.

    All I'm trying to say is, if they improve their quality & like Satya says - improvise REFINEMENT, their VFM motorcycles will become almost equivalent to Japanese motorcycles. And at present, no other manufacturer in India dares to do that.

      We have a lot of hopes from Bajaj.

      Please Bajaj, make smoother,refined,long lasting bikes! Then no one will be able to challenge you!

        BAJAJ does vibrate much more that the Japs but id say its at an "acceptable level" and they do lack overall quality compared to the Japs.which is a big turn off!
        But the 220's fairing vibrations are really bad! that too i experienced it on a 1200 km old one!

        I really hope BAL gets things right with their next-gen bikes..they are the only Indian Manufacturer capable of big things!

          Yes, Bajaj definitely has a lot of room to improve. However, the pace with which they have come this far is a comendable thing. It is this attitude of BAL that has helped them so far.

          Hope they do not get complacent and keep on improvising as they are doing now.

            This year's upgrade for Pulsars' will give some indication as to whether Bajaj has got anything from KTM's alliance. I for one has very high expectations from Bajaj from this upgrade.
