tires to come with isi mark from may 9th 2011.this was told to me by metro tires in grant road 2 days back.that means no imported tires from now on which are not officially launched in india.i have seen many articles regarding this last year but havent got a printed proof anywhere for this year.the guy at metro tires told me that the last lot of tires will be imported this month and then they will stop selling imported tires from may 9th as they will be fined for it.just wanted to inform guys who are planning to change their tires.would be sad if the printed proof would be 2 days before this things happens.mods please lock the thread as no written proof is there..just wanted to inform the guys as it was told by a guy who has been selling imported tires from a long time.
