Because in cars when you are hit head on you hit the steering wheel and its impact is fatal but you have a bit of protection from side in form of doors which is not there in bikes our hands legs are exposed naked to any obstacle, i got your point but i am just pointing about use of only frontal bags

That's why i said. Something is better then Nothing.
And the side collisions are worse in many cases in Cars too.

You're right in a way that, ABS, Seat belts, Air bags might become a standard for a motorcycle someday. Its probably because of the technology advancements. Just guessing.
