New Mahindra Bike to be launched on 29th September 2010 in Mumbai.

Teaser video by Mahindra Two-wheeler. Looks promising.

    Mahindra Motorcycles – coming soon!

September 11, 2010, Mumbai: The eagerly anticipated launch of Mahindra 2 Wheelers’ new range of motorcycles is just around the corner and to add to the excitement, there’s a specially created teaser campaign that’s all set to hit TV screens in the coming week.

Shot extensively on the world renowned Vallelunga Moto GP race track in Rome, Italy, the ad highlights the bikes’ Italian design credentials and the fact that they have undergone rigorous tests in Italy before coming to India.

While the ad does not show the details of the bike/s, it certainly leaves the viewer with the impression that the Mahindra bikes would have all the latest technological gadgetry courtesy the Italian lineage. The ad will be visible on all key genres of channels ranging from music, movies, mass, news, regional and sports and also on Youtube.

Mahindra 2 Wheelers’ motorcycles incorporate design elements from the Bologna based Engines Engineering, a boutique design house which was acquired by the Mahindra Group in 2008. In addition to Mahindra 2 Wheelers, Engines Engineering also undertakes design work for companies such as Ducati, MV Augusta and Benelli.

P.s.: Guys, this is a real teaser. Whatever it be, it looks promising. The gold-plated meaty inverted forks, the big radiator, the engine case all point towards a a higher capacity semi-faired bike, maybe a quarter liter (just my guess) Posting here a few screenshots from the video, let us all guess what it could be.

I am sure that guys from Mahindra will be watching this space; so please be gentle about your comments and realistic about your expectations; i hope they would try to incorporate the suggestions/feedback from here into the final product.

I see inverted forks, clip-ons and liquid cooling! What is it? I cant see the video!
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

If the bike in Teaser is a real bike from Mahindra, then my appreciations to the Team behind it.

Pricing and affordability would come later on, but as of now, I am glad that we are about to get a slightly bigger, a slightly better and a slightly more stylish then the contemporary machines on the Indian roads.

I just hope that the machine gets to fill up the void between the 200+ cc & 1000< cc. And I hope to see this bike sooner.

Once again, Kudos to the team, if this bike is REAL

Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

This was on cards! Nice to see little of the track bike from indian bike manufracturer..!

Looks as 200cc-300cc bike..deduced from the single front disc brake, And yes as pointed out..there appears to be two exhaust outlets from the pictures.

No details of specs, time of launch, price, etc. Even the bike is not visible. Let them roll out, then this thread will on real fire.
