Mr. Preetham began career as a Direct Marketing Associate, for spices, in partnership with his brother. He then became a distributor of postpaid mobile connections for Hutch, which became a very successful venture. Following his success in the telecom sector, he returned to his family business of mining. Six years after which he decided to pursue his long time passion of starting his own distribution company for automobiles thus began his pursuit of bringing Ducati Motor holdings Company to Bangalore.
He believes in sharing his passion and enthusiasm for automobiles and also in bringing the Ducati experience to the dominant biking culture in Bangalore.

Spectacular Ducati Diavel finally unveiled for India
Ducati DIAVEL, the latest addition to DUCATI’s product range was unveiled in
Bengaluru on 20th June, 2011 for India.
Commencing with a Press Conference held at the new Ducati Showroom in
Bengaluru, members of the media enjoyed direct contact with Mr. Mirko Bordiga,
CEO, DUCATI Asia Pacific, Mr. Ashish Chordia, CEO, DUCATI India and Mr. Allum
Preetham, Director, DUCATI Bengaluru.
“The Diavel is, without any doubt, the most exciting innovation in the Ducati 2011 line
because it represents a new concept of motorcycle,” declared Mr. Mirko Bordiga,

Mr. Bordiga has been Asia Pacific, CEO since November 2008.
Mr. Bordiga had joined Ducati as Export Area Manager in March 1998. He had previously been General Manager, Ferrari Maserati Cars Int. Trading (SH) Co., Ltd. Since joining the Company, he has been responsible for increase motorcycle sales in the assigned Areas, acting as a President of the Board of Directors of Ducati Japan, Definition and implementation of the strategy for the Japanese market, Responsible for worldwide Sales, After Sales and Motorcycle Related Products, Full responsibility of all the operations in Mainland China, Full responsibility of all the operations in Asia Pacific Area and Develop the Marketing, Sales and After Sales strategy for the Asian Markets
Prior to joining Ducati, Mr. Bordiga worked as a Marketing Manager Fresh Food of the company Gruppo GS SpA. While at Gruppo GS SpA, he was the representative for Gruppo GS for the contractual season 1998 at the “Supercentrale” purchasing cartel.
