7/8 two-wheeler companies cruise; capacity still drags Honda

I hope the new plant will help them fulfill the demands,
But
Still we need to wait for months for the bike /scooter for delivery,
as they are very much popular in creating false/fake waiting......
I wonder if a day will come when a representative will say, sir you bike is ready to go with you in 3 days....

I don't see any logic in your comments, the chap is saying his factory is running full capacity and additional capacity will only be created once the new plant starts off......obviously bikes have to come from factory and not by a black magic !Originally posted by srivaatsav View PostA Global brand and yet such kind of answers ! They are behaving like a third rated company here in INDIA !
There could be some vested interest blocking approvals to HMSI plant... who knows ?? B'cos other scooters are selling only b'cos of high waiting time of HMSI scooters ?!
BTW, HMSI is a third class company when it comes to handling it's employees. It is third class b'cos they don't take action on erring dealers...

The second HMSI plant is coming up in Rajasthan and should be operational in a few months. The next in line is another plant in Karnataka.
Once HMSI has the two new plants up and running, I am sure that the Scooter sales of ALL competitors will take a big hit... in scooters Activa is King in India.

I am hoping this continues. Once people start moving elsewhere, Honda dealer's are gonna bite the dust. Damn, Activa and Unicorn have a waiting period since a couple of years in Hyd. atleast. But Shine having a 2 month waiting period ??? I am surprised people are ready to wait for this piece of junk......
Honda can have a plant in every state of India, but still a majority of Honda dealers would quote waiting periods. Even the major disaster that the Aviator is, dealers here quote a waiting period of 20 days. Ofcourse, 5k more and you get any damn color delivered instantly. Some of the Happiest people in the world don't have everything. They just make the best of everything life brings their way !!! Stay happy, Smile always :)

Actually, its the company's attitude towards Indians that is THIRD RATED.. One small peep into any Honda Dealership any time of the day and you can see what I mean.. Their dealership was the reason why I went ahead and purchased a Suzuki Access for my Dad.. My Harrowing experience with a Honda Dealership is in the link.. Please go through for some fun times..Originally posted by srivaatsav View PostA Global brand and yet such kind of answers ! They are behaving like a third rated company here in INDIA !

I too have booked an access.
I took TD of activa and aviator, both are disaster at handling. People buy these scooters merely because the brand name and have seen other people buying them too.
Anyway, here the waiting period for Activa is more than 6 months since many months
. How can they say 4 months only?

Mate ,
Honda is been here in INDIA around for a decade or so ! When activa was first launched they said the waiting period was like 1-2 months or so ! Now the same activa has a waiting period of 3-4 months ( after a decade ) and they opening a new plant NOW
?? . As I said its a global brand they should have done that earlier ( If anyone complains here saying it would affect the hero honda market then why did HONDA enter in INDIA as early as 2000 )
The demand is there and my word is that they should have done all these long time back !
And sometimes I feel they dont take INDIA seriously comparing to other countries !

I feel they still think we are an underdeveloped country... Their attitude towards our country, whether it is cars or bikes, is pathetic... I was a Honda diehard once upon a time... But this attitude towards India has really made me hate them...Originally posted by srivaatsav View PostMate ,

I was in Turkey for 15-20 days... Visited a few(5) main cities there... Adn traveled across most of it by road... What surprised me was that I saw only 10-15 Honda cars in total... Most of them civics a couple Jazz's and only one Honda city... Staying in India its a sever shock to not see every second car be a Honda... lol..."stay hungry, stay foolish."
To those who have attitude... My middle finger salutes you...!

Myself being a die hard fan of HONDA went to our Main Dealer in Kolkata for inquiring CBR250 on first week of January 2011.
The internal set up and staff really put me in a state of shock.
Every time we expect things to improve soon but almost a long time has passed and plenty of customers have shifted to other Products.
Come on HMSI, wake up
before it is too late.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(
