^^ I think its the non-CF version that they're talking bout, but 10k is real cheap, PlanetDSG sells the Daijya CF helmet for 13 and 16k
The only thing standing in your way, the ONLY thing you can count on, at any given time.. Is YOU

I think I would prefer the Daijya CF for 13k...

Maybe I am wrong, but the price somehow is not very convincing to me. Keeping the high import duties aside, genuine carbon fibre helmets are still pretty expensive abroad, whereas I have seen some fiberglass accessories for superbikes sporting very good carbon fiber look but they aren't, and are sold as "give your bike a carbon fiber look". Lets hope its genuine carbon fiber at an affordable price.

BTW, carbon fiber is a tough material for the outer shell and mainly makes it a lighter helmet, whereas the most important impact absorbing component in a helmet is still the liner & other cusioning stuff inside the helmet, a lot of which is derived from space research. Thats what makes premium imported helmets costly.

i think it is a genuine cf helmet ,most steelbird lids are priced between 1-3k rs . i dont think they will charge so much more than their other helmets if it just had a carbon fibre look vinyls on them .

This does look interesting, especially for a guy who has crashed two helmets this year already.

BV any idea, where and when can I get one.
