Yes... during warranty period try to stick to ASC for everything, so that they do not get a reason to void warranty. Ask them to change the oil if you feel so, but as mentioned, 1000 kms should be good if that is what the manual says.

Yes bro.. got your point that the bike is OK.. but u will need to replace the wiring or at least the burnt wires.
Currently your bike should be in warranty, so better get it changed at ASC, or you may void warranty if you get it replaced by a mechanic.

You mean your alarm wires are burnt - correct. Then i guess u need to replace the alarm wiring. You can get it done with the help of a mechanic or someone who is good with automobile electricals.

                    • I went to one in Koti for my old bike (Fiero)&was very happy with the result. It is behind that theatre (Shanti I think)&anyone will guide you there easily.

This is not my 1st bike, neither am I unfamiliar with these places/people.
They are electrical experts&I got my Fiero's stator coil rewound in front of me. No problems thereafter.
Leaving your bike unattended is always a risk though.

                          • Finally, over a month after the launch, I saw the bike yesterday.
Visited 2 showrooms (Bangalore Wheels, Rajajinagar & Perfect Riders, Lalbagh Road), and got to see the black one in both places.
The bike looks fabulous, and the finishing is fantastic. Each part oozes Yamaha quality.

I sat on the bike to get a feel of it, & the rider seat definitely felt wider, higher, and grippier than the outgoing v1.0. No other visible changes from rider's perspective.

Didn't get a chance to fire up the bike as it was indoors for display.
Apparently, the test ride bike at Bangalore Wheels was involved in an accident couple of days back, hence unavailable. Perfect Riders was offering a test ride at Jayanagar branch, which I didn't bother going to as it was some distance away

The bike costs a whopping INR 1,26,996 OTR Bangalore.

PS: I was really looking forward to seeing the blue, and the red+white R15, but I guess I will have to make another trip to the showrooms for that.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                            • The fit and finish of the bike is really amazing. Way better than the CBR250R. I'd have really loved to buy this one, however, the only drawback is the rear seat.

YOU CAN'T TAKE YOUR WIFE AS A PILLION FOR LONG RIDES.

Believe me the rear seat is too high and nothing to grab. Its really dangeorus in case of sudden brakes. If you dont believe me just go to the showroom and sit as a pillion. You'll realise what I am talkin about.

So its good only to.....Arrive Alone

                              • Hey xbhpians , I got my R15 v2.0 about a week ago , when I left for college in the morning i saw a scratch on my tank ,
it appears as if someone took a stone and did it intentionally .
I don't know why some one would do such a thing and a part of my soul literally died when i saw it .
This is my first bike and it just hurts to see a scratch on a brand new bike .

Ive attached a few pics , can you guys please tell me if anything can be done to cover it up ?like a touch up and cost ?

                                Thanks
