The pleasure is mine.Originally posted by vishnus View Postthanks a lot for the review nikhil

I got a chance to test ride the bike after that post of mine. I guess you missed this post of mine: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post725556Originally posted by neil.jericho View PostAre you looking to change your bike? 1.26 is a lot of money these days ....
Quoting myself:
I love the looks of the v2.0, but for me it is not worth exchanging the v1 and paying another 50k-60k.Performance-wise, the v1 & v2 have the same DNA.
For an existing v1 owner, the v2 is not worth the upgrade unless one is completely floored by the looks.
Hence, my v1 stays.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Nice first ride report.Originally posted by tibby View PostFinally, I test rode the 2.0 today.
The bike looks fabulous, and the showroom had all the 3 colours on display. Red+white is drop dead gorgeous, followed by blue, & then black.
People were staring at the bike all through the way, and were definitely thinking of it as a bigger bike.
Now coming to the ride experience:
1) The low-end torque is way better than outgoing v1. I launched the bike from standstill at 1.4k RPM in 3rd gear, & it felt the same as the v1 in 1st gear. The power delivery seems linear now, & there is no dearth of power across the RPM band.
YES!YAMAHA.
have you tried testing the midrange? i mean from 4k - 7k rpm. we tried 3 rollon runs on the v1 and v2 side by side from 4k rpm. despite the lighter me being on the v2 and a 20 kg heavier rider or the v1, v1 pulled away every time! just want to know if it was the problem with our test unit. every other review, they only talk about the low end.2002 Herculese Top Gear 6 speed

I did not have the 1.0 aside to compare the mid-range. However, having ridden the 1.0 for over 2 yrs now, I didn't find the mid-range of the 2.0 any different. Maybe it is a bit slower there. MAYBE.

so u are telling that V1.0 is faster than V2.0...maybe the V2.0 is slower because its a new vehicle.....

Of course you can, will require a fair amount of fabrication and you will raise the ride height of the front end by around 720mm, not sure why you would want to make a junior sport bike into a bizarre looking chopper though, where will you sauce the tyre from?Originally posted by kpcmilo View Postcan we put a 100/800 mm front tire for the r15 2.0, if yes then what all changes will take place.Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Can anybody throw more light on how to remove the rear tyre hugger....like its done in the below pic...
In street legal bikes we will also have the number plate attached.....so that will remain....main thing is how to get rid of the rear tyre hugger......some say its a complete unit and in order to remove the rear tyre hugger, it has to be cut out with an axle blade or something like that.....but in the pic I can see nothing like that being done.....
