How many bottle should be required for bike like Impulse.

If I am not mistaken the impulse front tyre is of 19" and rear is 17" so Tuff-Up is of no use.

Right now not in stock but he said they can arrange for me if I place my order. Having said so, it is available in India through FireFox. Nice. He has given me a tentative idea of price which is INR 500 per bottle. He said for bycycle, one bottel is needed for both the tyres so in his openion for a dirt bike we might need to use 4 bottles. I am not sure if what he said is authetic. Do you have any idea of this? How many bottles did you ship for your bike and what was the quantity per bottle.

Again, I think, Slime don't recommend running at high speeds (I guess over 100 or so) with the solution in the tyre/tube.
No worries, I guess the top speed of Impulse is 100 KMPH only .

Its unbelievable that no one on xbhp owns an impulse yet.
    1. I am going to request him to join this forum.
    2. If he does not join, who knows if I am going to be the first XBHPian who owns an Impulse.
    3. I might buy a Impulse within this month.

PS :: I visited the Hero dealer and checked for the finance option. The financial they had there was HDFC and he told me that the interest rate is going to be 13% flat . Is it not too much? I have decided to buy the bike in cash.

hummmm... In that case why to change the tyre??? I guess changing only the tube will be fine. Correct me with details if Am I wrong?

Slime claims to seal the puncture upto 1/8inches.
If it fails, then I guess cleaning up the tyre inside and fitting a new tube should work fine.

If you are using 18" wheels, then you can also opt for Honda Tuff-Up tubes (used in Unicorn). Many people in Raid run them and I also used them in the ZMA's rear. Though haven't had any first hand exp of seeing it working but have heard from people that it works.
I had got a reference of Welcome to Firefox Bikes - Mountain Bike, Road Bike, Hybrid Bike, BMX Bike, kids Bike...Bikes for everyone who also sells some similar solution.

Still riding without having to do anything other than check/top up air pressure. I bought it from Speedworks in 2010 but it seems they no more sell it (last when I checked) and hence I bought it from US (via amazon).

Hey Nik, nice catch. I just had a talk with the owner of that bike (Nitish) and he said he has a free flow exaust which he bought from HRC, Karol Bagh, Delhi. I requested him to make a video clip of the bike and to upload so we all can listen the knots. However he did start his bike for me so I can hear the knots on phone. It was quite a good sound/knots. He said the torque of the bike has slightly increased after the free flow.

Looks like he's already stripped out the stock muffler and put a different can in.

Yes, he is the same guy...

I have almost made my mind for Impulse in black colour. I know this is not the best colour but however I would feel less awkward while going to office on that bike than the other bright colours.

Though I am going to buy this bike soon but there are a few things I really do not like about Impulse...

    1. The name which reads I M PULSEr . It n 4X4 world, we call Maruti Gypsy as JeepSi (Jeep jaisi = wanna be Jeep). Even the "pulse" fonts are somewhere similar to Pulser.
    2. the logo of hero is not impressive to me. I know it is subjective. No problem, one I have the bike I can always perhaps put Honda sticker on it.

Enjoy the below pictures too... I love the last pic...

@ NarenCharan, What an amazing first post here..! Hats-Off to try out something that is built for. Not many people try these out, rather park it in some Coffee Shop & Drool at it...!
