    There are a lot of posts which need to be shifted to the ownership thread which are about the bike in general and not related to the launch news item.

    Well I'd read it like It's not Force, it's better - Force per unit area - It's Impulse...

    @all
    Few people cribbing about it's cost... Well I'd see it like double the fun at @ just 4k more from other boring 150cc available now... In fact when I first heard about the cost I was glad it's within the reach of normal people...

    [QUOTE=niks_devil666;748661]Another impulse review

    well .. well . good reviews there( the guys were wonderful on the bike). i am not impressed or carried away with the bike. what i feel its just a slick package. not going to perform too well in off road as on the road. a little bit of here (off road) and there. yes for the specs its value for money for a 150 cc bike. and currently you have no choice. what i am looking forward to is the reliability factor of the basic bike, and that is what may tempt me for buying an impuse as a second bike.

    keeping my fingers crossed as i am working on how to manage the 25K required to book the bike.

    If there is waiting period for something, you are prepared. In my case, it was a pure KLPD (= unexpected) .

    Can we please post them jointly on ONE thread and can invite others to post their queries, problems, solutions, ownership experience there.

    It is wrong, they did bother in my case. Some one from their Delhi corporate office arranged delivery to me, seeing my extreme eagerness in their new product. To your wonder the local dealer is not giving delivery of Impulse to all the others till 18th Dec .

    I arranged the cash before I went to sleep yesterday and could hardly sleep for a few hours. First thing in the morning taking leave from work and to rush to the showroom. At 10.00 I came here at the dealer showroom Mahendra Motors. I started the bike, and sound/knots are just like any other 4 stroke bike. I told the sales guy where to deposit the cash and he informed that he need to talk to the manager since the product is due to launch at our town . The manager, showroom owner and the other staff also got involved in the discussion. I felt like they are treating me if I am not their customer but if have come here to ask for some charity or something. The showroom manager called up to the territory manager of Hero Moto and to my wonder the TM told them that I can get the delivery after 3 days only since the product is going to be launched in our town on 19th Dec. Oh, Wow, what an attitute! I asked them what do you mean by launching in town, it has already been launched in India a long back the rockstar. They were not sure what to reply, they simply told me, sorry come on the 19th for the delivery. I told him that I need the bike today only or else I will go to Bajaj Pulser but they did not look like much bothered.

    I requeted the showroom manager to give me the number of the territory manager but he refused to give. I got the number of their North Corporate Office from the brochure of NXG lying on the central table at the dealer. I spoke with Mr. Sumit Panwar who is in sale dept at Hero Moto Delhi corporate office and he assured me that he will help me to get the bike today itself.

    Just now got a call from the TM and he is saying I need to wait for a few sometime and he is looking for the possibilities . Now I am sitting at the dealer's place waiting for the TM calls .

    I never thought that I had to fight to get delivery of the bike even when the bike is available at the dealer and I am ready with the cash in hand.

    0. Apologies for the bad quality of pic but I was not carrying my camera that day.Bunked office and rode 30km when I heard that finally a dealer has a green impulse available. the first bike that they showed me had a slight crack in the switch gear rubber so I opted for a new piece which took some time.
    So by the time the payment formalities were to be done I had grown impatient.. I just wanted to drive off as soon as I can. I took extended warranty (in excitement i missed the details) and the hero goodlife card since I still had some cash left (prices here were lower than Pune)

    I'll follow up with detailed review.

    1. Its hardly surprising... they are busy selling so many bikes that losing one odd doesn't make a difference
    2. knuckle guards are extra, goodlife card is a membership card where you get insurance and discounts on hero spares and paid service (to be honest I did not inquire much)..
    3. Freebies on hero?? are you kidding?? maybe you might get lucky with some of their models that aren't doing nicely else its a big no.. i even tried to sell off that sari guard to them in the hope of getting a discount.

    Those vehicles will be delivered on spot if you pay extra. But in this case, they are totally denying to sell the vehicles.
