So finally the bike arrived at my town Jodhpur and I had a look of the bike yesterday evening just when the showroom was about to be closed for the day.

I arranged the cash before I went to sleep yesterday and could hardly sleep for a few hours. First thing in the morning taking leave from work and to rush to the showroom. At 10.00 I came here at the dealer showroom Mahendra Motors. I started the bike, and sound/knots are just like any other 4 stroke bike. I told the sales guy where to deposit the cash and he informed that he need to talk to the manager since the product is due to launch at our town . The manager, showroom owner and the other staff also got involved in the discussion. I felt like they are treating me if I am not their customer but if have come here to ask for some charity or something. The showroom manager called up to the territory manager of Hero Moto and to my wonder the TM told them that I can get the delivery after 3 days only since the product is going to be launched in our town on 19th Dec. Oh, Wow, what an attitute! I asked them what do you mean by launching in town, it has already been launched in India a long back the rockstar. They were not sure what to reply, they simply told me, sorry come on the 19th for the delivery. I told him that I need the bike today only or else I will go to Bajaj Pulser but they did not look like much bothered.

I requeted the showroom manager to give me the number of the territory manager but he refused to give. I got the number of their North Corporate Office from the brochure of NXG lying on the central table at the dealer. I spoke with Mr. Sumit Panwar who is in sale dept at Hero Moto Delhi corporate office and he assured me that he will help me to get the bike today itself.

Just now got a call from the TM and he is saying I need to wait for a few sometime and he is looking for the possibilities . Now I am sitting at the dealer's place waiting for the TM calls .

I never thought that I had to fight to get delivery of the bike even when the bike is available at the dealer and I am ready with the cash in hand.

I have created an ownership thread of hero impulse so that we can start posting stuff there rather than keep posting in this news article.

the thread should be up soon and will update the link in this thread for all of us to post there.

Congratulation. The Impulse has arrived yesterday late evening with the dealer in my town. I am also planing to buy one today.

Why do not we open a common thread for owner to post our feed back and discuss the other things such as mods etc.

    Should be possible.

Just confirmed, on dirt bike/scooter we need to use 8oz per tyre, as mentioned on the Slime bottle.
Also its mentioned on the bottle that, "Slime will remain liquid, which may result in imbalance or vibration".

Thanks for the information. I am sorry for the wrong reference, I copied from the Facebook account of Hitesh and even posted after his permission. I never thought that these picture are not his own. I just rechecked his Facebook photos and found that he actually got a Green Impulse.

Thanks Nav, I shall check with the dealer.

Sorry didn't get, why we will have to tear the tyre and replace it?
Slime is just a liquid solution. If it leaks out due to tube being damaged, why can't we simply clean the tyre and fit a new tube?

I don't remember but I think we need 8oz for one tyre, means 16oz is what you will need. Will confirm it after reading the instructions on the bottle.

Right now not in stock but he said they can arrange for me if I place my order. Having said so, it is available in India through FireFox. Nice. He has given me a tentative idea of price which is INR 500 per bottle. He said for bycycle, one bottel is needed for both the tyres so in his openion for a dirt bike we might need to use 4 bottles. I am not sure if what he said is authetic. Do you have any idea of this? How many bottles did you ship for your bike and what was the quantity per bottle.
Just confirm from him that its for tube and not for tubeless tyre. Slime for tubeless tyre is easily available.
As I mentioned above, how much to use, I'll update you later in the evening.
