Just checked in on this thread. First of all , kudos to hero for bringing the fun bike to India. Time will show the full extent to which this bike finds its buyers. Who knows if it goes on to become a dhoodhwala favourite bike.

I will buy this for its fun factor. Saree guard on such bikes has to be made of cheaper materials like plastic for eg. , I have seen a lot of comments in the thread beginning where people want to take them off.

    I agree

The host Kartikeya Singhee, pulls off his first ever wheelie and stoppie on the impulse in that video review.

Yes, the Impulse isn't practical to commute to say to office or to the market, especially with not so young ladies as pillion.

It will remain a niche bike. Therefore the 223 cc engine of the ZMA would have made the Impulse much more appealing though.

Thats true. Payeng had already posted his similar views on this thread that this will become a second bike in garage but will never be the first or only bike one will have

Very few people will be interested in a bike like the impulse. Someone like niks_devil who already owns has a couple of bikes and can afford to have another one can go for the impulse as another buy.

But for normal (99.9 %) of Indians, a bike like the impulse isn't practical to be the only bike in his garage.

nice..i would love to have this bike along with my ZMR n RTR, i won't take it out everyday though but for a weekend fun ride on off road terrain, this seems to be the best tool available here as in form of Impulse

Firstly, there haven't been many bike launches in the last 1 year and out of the GT650, Ninja 650, CBR 250, Diavel, and R15 V2 reviews published in the magazine in the last few issues, only the R15 couldn't make it to the forum. All others were posted on forum before they came in the magazine. The Suzuki Slingshot, Apache 180, Yamaha SZ-X remained on forum only and didn't make it to the magazine.

It has very comfy seating stance making it a great bike for both city roads and occasional off-roading.
The biggest plus of impulse is Honda's proven power plant.
Looks like a skinny 100cc bike to me.
