The naked version gives a feel that there was something else on this bike which is now missing. It does not give that "completeness" to the bike. A bikini fairing e.g. a small FZ or Pulsar 200 kind of fairing would have helped. Or may be, it's only in pics and will not give that feeling when seen in real.Originally posted by SKSy_Biker View Post

The 82bhp is on their international version... But the engines are detuned for India and the power output reduces to 72 bhp,,,Originally posted by SKSy_Biker View PostThats correct. Just that both the numbers were given by Hyosung at the launch

quite true & that is the reason why many like the er 6 n or the z1000 etc have additional small bikini fairing -- adds more to the appeal & doesn't look like an afterthoughtOriginally posted by hss View PostThe naked version gives a feel that there was something else on this bike which is now missing. A classic example is the z1000 sxsigpic

A weight reduction of 4-5 kgs hardly has an impact on noticeable performance. This was seen in P220F to S conversion too...Originally posted by princesirohi View Postremoving the fairing reduces weight, so ... is the performance of GT650N better than R...??
BTW Wet weight is not given, dry is given because its lesser which is just under 200 kgs.
And in the press release, Power figure is quoted before the detuning, rather than what we'll get.
Even price is exshowroom 4.39L, instead of a rounded 4.40L.
Garware is trying to gain some psychological advantage?

82 BHP..... almost 10 HP more than the 650R ..Originally posted by SKSy_Biker View Post
and it pumps out about 82 Hp at 9000 rpm with a torque figure of 60.9 Nm at 7500 rpm.
People look for mileage... But I choose Mile Age

stance...???Originally posted by payeng View Post8 Kg reduction in weight will hardly be noticeable on a 200 Kg/72 Ps machine.
The main difference would be in the relatively comfortable riding stance.
but i assumed that only difference with gt650r is that fairing is removed, are there other changes as well...??
