I think it should make an appearance soon. After all, its a 1199cc so it can be imported via CBU route. Ducati India must be preparing itself for its service and spares I assume.Originally posted by vishnus View Postany chance of getting this baby to our country........?
Price should be anywhere around 24-28 Lacs or so, based on a rough calculation I did.---

In today's world, quotes don't matter. Quotas do!

Yes (ouch!)Originally posted by vikhyath View PostThat means its priced above the Honda VFR too??

My estimation: 1199 in UK will cost GBP 14,995 for the BASE model (no ABS). Which is approximately 12,42,450. Now, add 100% tax to make it 24.84 L approximately. Now make it on road, and add some more if you choose high end (S/ ABS) models, and now, you have an idea that my estimation of 24-28L is quite low...
Since its releasing in March, '12 in UK, you can expect it here by May-June.Last edited by Samarth 619; 12-27-2011, 07:29 PM.---

@ Vinay: Wow... Such amazing photography of the 1199. Such a futuristic looking front headlight and rear taillights, plus the package as a whole...
Even the rear tyre seems almost groove-less and much suited to the bike's heavenly power.
Amazingly, the only things that haven't changed all these years are: the girls standing beside these bikes. Otherwise the bikes are a generation apart. Very nice pics!
