No. Atleast the first version wouldn't have the ABS. I personally think it would have been a nice option. The new pulsar 220 seems to be equipped with ABS and I've heard KTM is working with Bosch on an ABS version. So i'm sure you could see it in its v2.Originally posted by vivek_k_p View Post

The warranty might get void if you fit a after market ABS. Not sure if You do it from probiking. To my knowledge the SVC guys do not encourage any mods if its not recommended for that particular model.Originally posted by vivek_k_p View PostYou din't get my question

So many people reporting?Originally posted by bprags View Postinteresting read, most look like cold climate issues KTM Duke 125 | Facebook
Damn one guy there has a problem in every department of the bike from electrical to mechanical. Goes to show that even the biggest names in the industry will have quality problems at one point of time.
Where do the Duke125's get exported from? India? and? or is it just India?
Also some people are reporting that the KTM mechanics are blaming the owners for riding in the Rain.
?? The bike isnt meant for all weather?

Let me reframe..Originally posted by jack7 View PostMy bad, I guess you got your answer though.
1. I buy Duke200.
2. Bajaj launches Duke200 with ABS later.
3. I wish to fit ABS on my Duke from Bajaj itself. is it possible???

Most likely not. When i was getting my car, Hyundai guys said they wont since the ECU, brake system have to be changed (obviously). He said such jobs are best done at the assembly line and also the cost of replacment will be huge (3x more). When i was inquiring about CBR250/Apache, i got the same answer from Honda/TVS dealers too.Originally posted by vivek_k_p View PostLet me reframe..

today morning at around 7.45 am, i saw a KTM being tested on the same stretch of road they used to test pulsar twins. don't know why there were testing it, the guy was riding it at constant 60-65 kmph, was it mileage testing going on or what?
man the bike looked small, too small, riding position looked awkward.
but it sounded good like a FFE, but less volume.

If the bike in question is the Duke 200, then I bet they're testing the mileage only.Originally posted by princesirohi View Posttoday morning at around 7.45 am, i saw a KTM being tested on the same stretch of road they used to test pulsar twins. don't know why there were testing it, the guy was riding it at constant 60-65 kmph, was it mileage testing going on or what?

Highway mileage may suffer I suspect due to lower gearing...
EDIT: The Duke 200 comes with a 14:43 sprocket ratio and .520 chain which means that we'll be able to try out sprockets from .520 chained bikes. I believe the Karizma's sprocket should fit, we'll try..Last edited by Samarth 619; 01-18-2012, 03:22 PM.---
