so now we will be getting tickets for overspeeding like we are used to see in hollywood movies and soaps.not much to worry for me,i live in the outskirts of kolkata and the 40 km long highway leading to kolkata is congested with vehicles but no traffic guard.and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

I said "almost touching knees". Its the P180 UG3. Never did a knee-down on it, but came quite close to it.Originally posted by princesirohi View PostWhat an idea sir ji !!!

and for that knee touching part .. which pulsar u own, coz mine P150 scraps footpegs before my knee makes any contact with road.---

Well, I too think that it's just too less. They should increase the speed limit to atleast 80-90. But atleast they passed some rule.... :P We live in a democracy where addressing smaller problems are always easier than looking into the bigger problem, but if tackling the smaller problems in some way might help to indirectly tackle the larger problem then such an initiative is welcome. But agree with you that the limit is just too low.Originally posted by aargee View PostUtter nonsense!!! Instead of fixing the root of the issue, they're addressing something else which is easier!!! 40 Kmph speed limit for motorcycles like Ninja/CBR 250R, Ninja/GT 650R!!!
Exactly. The limit's should be raised.Originally posted by princesirohi View Postjust think for a moment before writing ...
if a 100 CC splendour is going at ... say 80 kmph, it is at its limit in terms of handling and braking and is unsafe to go any faster.
on the other hand, think a CBR250 or Ninja 250 or any other higher capacity bikes (except bullet) .... for these bikes .. handling and braking at 80 kmph is without breaking a sweat, and the safe limit may be raised to ...say 120-130 kmph.
so the question is - what should be the safe speed limit ??
Everybody switch to electric scooters and cycles!!!Originally posted by Brat View PostThe next move by our beloved govt. would be to restrict all motorcycles regardless of capacity to 7 bhp in order to make the roads "Safer".
, "making the roads safer?" what roads? All I see are potholes!!!
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.
