Honda Dream Yuga 110cc launched at 44,642 ex-showroom Delhi

    Gurgaon: Japanese two-wheeler major Honda today launched its second mass segment motorcycle 'Dream Yuga' in India priced at Rs 44,642 (ex-showroom Delhi).
    The company's wholly-owned subsidiary Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) also announced to rope in Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as a brand ambassador for the company.

    "Honda retained the brand Dream as part of a global strategy that was first launched in 1949. This new bike is very economical with better mileage," HMSI's President and CEO Keita Muramatsu told reporters here.

    Dream Yuga is powered by a 110cc engine, he added. The company sells 110cc motorcycle CB Twister in the country.

    The company, which sold 21.07 lakh motorcycles and scooters in India last fiscal, is aiming to sell 27.5 lakh units in 2012-13.

        Its everywhere on Internet. I am sure that the info is correct(except that spoke wheel version) and I confirmed it with the Honda officials here.

            Hey guys ,

            Every thing is fine , but what about services, honda is pathetic in after sales services , there present product line is suffering due to lack of services and parts and behaviour of SC guys.
            Remember that major market is in rural and sub urban areas .. were fuel adulteration dependency on local mechanics is more due to distances. muth to mouth publicity is crucial in these pockets. Hero(initially cycle/moped manufacturer) understands this far better than others , even desi Bajaj/TVs , forget honda . their CD 100 /Dawn, splendor series , passion will command market for long followed by platina/discover, tvs star at least in rular market.

              every thing is not fine my dear...honda hav'nt priced it competitively...which is the most important for manufacturer who is aiming to sell it as a mass market product...

                          I saw this bike in Honda show room hyderabad.. Not so great in looks...
                          Star city is better in look and feel .. Time will tell about the engine..
                          On-Road price is 60,000+ .. And waiting time is 2 months..
                          If one can get reliable Shine for 64,000 , Who will choose this non proved and not a special bike at this price?

                              Honda Dream Yuga with its high over-price is a dream for middle-class people!

                              Honda Dream Yuga is launched to takeover Hero Splendor..ya that's gonna happen alright..lol.. Consumers these days have zero common sense..Honda is just fooling people..come on with all the accessories this bike will be abt 50-55,000Rs costly...A 110cc Commuter bike at that cost?? :O Average/middle-class people can't afford that.There are better bikes in the market like Suzuki Hayate,Discover etc..So anyone looking for a good low cost commuter bike pls do avoid this Honda Dream Yuga bike,its over-priced & not wroth it...checkout the other bikes in the market,Suzuki Hayate is a far better choice then this bike..it is the lowest priced bike including all the accessories,engine is more refined & looks good too... Suzuki Hayate is the best alernative choice for Honda Yuga...so do research more,other than goin for what others say..& buy the best bike for u.. :\
