i feel many foreign company made bikes ugly...especially the ones with different designed dual headlamps..they look mismatched and eye sore to me and many naked ugly bikes too..most of them by BMW...also not a fan of ducati touring bikes....(not here to start a war)

MOJO looks fine...its not ugly...but its not aesthetically appealing too..its just very different..and may be the styling will grow on you with time...

Looks are subjective though. I kinda liked the look and seriously waiting for this to launch. Could be a practical tourer to compete against TB500.

        Hey guys,
        Do you remember this thread?

Thank God at least the headlight covers are now blacked out.The bronze covered ones earlier looked tacky to the core!
          Against ninja 300,LOL no chance.Primary contenders cbr 250r,Duke 390,upcoming pulsar 375,maybe inazuma 250.
Don't mean to sound pessimistic but its quite possible the bajaj-ktm flagships will ace it left and right.Mojo Jojo really
needs to prove it in the market to gain its share and if possible,a cult following(though it seems unlikely)Seriously hoping
the production version looks even better and surprises us.

If everybody understood that looks are subjective, they wouldn't go on rampage commenting about this bikes looks... in the last couple of pages i remember passing a post which said mojo's rear looks like Duke 200's rear... If i'm not wrong mojo was designed and showcased long before the duke so the comment should have been the other way round...

            @TOPIC
I was always wondering what is the positive purpose of the dual exhaust apart from the poser value.
Does it help in reducing heat/increasing mileage or anything like that?

            @Payeng
Agree to this bro, looks/aesthetics are highly subjective... its not even worth discussing... the reason i made my previous post is because a majority of the thread had gone waste commenting how ugly this bike looks. Didn't mean to offend anyone...

@ Saipranav: Perhaps the double exhaust might help in better weight distribution? Something which Wego claimed to be good at I think? I'm not sure though, as this is just a guess.

Mojo's design reminds me of Maruti Suzuki WagonR, a car which experts claimed, would lose market due to its ugly "boxy" design.
But look where it is positioned today. Its boxy nature has been smoothened out, and cagers do like it now.

Future is so damn unpredictable nowadays. Anyways for me, Mojo's design is somewhat different but somewhat acceptable by now.
Mojo still looks like a total controversy against everything on the road but I will have no problem riding it, given the chance. Villagers are gonna love it though, I guess.

We should discuss about looks, why not? After all Looks / Styling is the first filter especially when it comes to automobiles.

For example how different is the Honda Dazzler from the Yamaha FZ mechanically..?? Both (FZ and Dazzler) have got 150 cc, Air cooled engines, Diamond Frames, Monoshock, Digital Display etc.. then why does the FZ manage to comfortably outsell the Dazzler (despite the relatively poor mileage for a 150 cc and the Dazzler delivering a better top end)..??

It is the "Puffed Up" muscles and clever desiging / packaging why the FZ appeals more.

Very well said...Dazzler being actually overall a better bike then FZ still can't compete FZ in sells due to poor Styling...
Anyways when is mahindra going to launch this 300cc Bike??

                    .. Ugly is Ugly (aesthetically)

P.S: I saw the Mojo in flesh and sat on it during its Sep 2010 unveiling

Most disappointing thing for me was the name, and a childish website they showed the public those days. Of course I hate that twin pipe idea.
The design was not appealing much. But after some months. this one looks nice to me.

shed one exhaust can, it will save some wight. Hope it will not hurt wight balance!
For this displacement a 30 HP is what it should have at least. Not the 26Hp they said earlier.
BMW was not the most loved bike brand, most used comment, they are better off with their great cars.
Still they pulled one hell of Super-sport machine, S1000, Japs are still to catchup !
I believe, Car makers can also deliver, If they wanna do that.

Few of the bikes listed above doest look that ugly out of the factory to me.
I have seen most ugliest ZMR (only ugly ZMR actually I have seen in life), here in Pune today.
A green paint job (Ninja?)with a fish that matches the paint job on PMPML buses.
Tail have a big label -SUZUKI- with a nursary school project finish.
A handle bar that resembles a sports bicycles'.

Take a look at this fantastic bike, Everybody will start admitting that Mojo is one beautiful bike. (if not convinced so far.)

Mirror mounted indicators and regular indicators. Wow! Fantastic safety feature. Now the world will know when I want to turn

EDIT: I guess it goes with the Dual Theme. Dual exhausts, dual headlamps and even dual indicators
