@Payeng, totally agree with you. The problem with Yamaha as I see is that they are not able to understand how to do that! may be they can take a leaf out of P135LS or even Discover 100 or 125ST. How Bajaj went about it when they launched these products.

They can also try to have a sub-brand selling out of Yamaha showrooms for mass market commuter bikes, though that needs a lot of investment to introduce a new brand to people. It might just work to their advantage as the new brand comes with zero baggage from past.
