motorcycles are great due to their high order of manouverability and this "PLANE" does not look so.Better off is the Indian bulit LCA aircraft. It has the greatest manouverability off all the air combat aircrafts on earth.Light weight makes it better with 0g revolutions.here is the pic:

and the above so called 'flying bike' is a sorry example of a small PLane with zero manouverability and short speeds.Needless to say it remain a dream cream project as investors wont find it profitable with any price tags.

A flying bike should have bat wings that is wings that retract depending upon altitude and pressure of centrifgal forces. It should hover around like a Helichopper by using under thrust.I dont see them here anywher.

I would anytime put down my money on a civil version of the very much Indian LCA rather than this stupid BIKE plane.
Indian built LCA cannot take off from roads, nor it's much maneuverable. If at all you really want to buy an aircraft for fun, then IJT is going to be offered as a affordable joy plane. BTW LCA took 18 years to fly, and will take around 28 years to be operational!

And that's not the picture of LCA, please refrain from posting idiotic comments and pictures.

The Mobike Plane, is indeed sexy and a looker. It can remain concept, but it indeed seems maneuverable and stealthier (may not be)

Sorry for the OT: But here's the LCA, and that pic is my copyrighted

@Old Fox: that is indeed very interesting. In fact, there are a lot of Do-it-yourself kits available in US. I am not sure whether anyone and everyone is allowed to buy, build and fly small planes.
Sometime back, the discovery channel was profiling some innovators in such small planes, one of them also had a small jet engine.

I wish we could have such things here...

                    That's an awesome flying motorcycle.

                    Update from the website

Recent developments at Samson have given us a new way to get airborne. The new scissors wing design shaves 200 lb weight while allowing greater range and lower maintenance cost. The wings swing closed under the belly of the vehicle, protected from road grunge and rock dings by a clamshell case and a structural keel that takes impacts. Sporting a three-surface design, in which all wings lift, drag is reduced further by the fact of needing less wing. The Ferrari-inspired clean shape is slowed on landings by fowler flaps. Larger rear wheels are located far aft to provide room for the main wings to swing closed, the the nose wheel strut extends five degrees for take-off attitude — you literally fly the plane off the runway without rotating!

Side-by-side seating, more range, less weight, slower landing speed, room for golf clubs, and a wide cabin. The Switchblade has it all!

i cant call it a flying bike!

it doesnt look like a bike from any angle its just like many other small planes.

can be called a flying mini car
to qualify for a bike, it needs a saddle and not the cage
