XDL was started in 2006. It is all about freestyle stunting. Until now XDL has not been recognised by the FIM. But due to the overwhelming appreciation of the sport by spectators, this sport is being given serious consideration by the FIM.
Randy Grube, owner and founder of XDL has been in talks with the FIM. The talks so far have been very positive. This sport is extremely popular in Europe. There are already rules in place for this sport. So it should make it easier for the FIM.
XDL’s founder said that this sport is going to be launched soon in North America which has a big market for such activities. The best thing about the sport is that it can be held throughout the year as it can be held indoors, outdoors or in other more interesting places.
But the biggest news for people in India is that XDL will be coming to India. This is irrespective of whether the FIM approves it as a motorsport or not. Grube said that the Pulsar brand is pushing hard for stunting in India and there is immense potential in India. Next season India might just see some fantastic freestyle stunting organised properly and approved by the FIM. All the best to the Indian Stunters.

Couldn't believe my eyes, but yes, it was a real R6. Can you believe that a 180 kgs racing machine be used to stunt this way? A circle wheelie with a diameter of just 2-3 meters!!
