Yamaha India has appointed Masaki Asano as Deputy Managing Director for India. With this the company has made a completely new profile.
Asano will be reporting directly to Hiroyuki Suzuki, CEO & MD of Yamaha. He had first joined Yamaha Japan in 1981, where he looked after the domestic market. In 1989 he joined Yamaha, Indonesia as General Manager, Marketing; from there he moved to Portugal as President in 1997. From 2001 he was in Italy till 2003, he then took over the Central and South American market. From 2007 till date he has been based in Vietnam.
