Indonesia. He paid 2.85lakh rupees (@ current exchange rate of 182 rupiah to a rupee).

Which will make the Z250 cost approximately 2.66 lakh rupees out there.

Killer looks (WHITE), especially the headlight. I think many of them would prefer z250s than n250s.

I have to admit, a very good looking bike. Kawasaki has really upped the ante when it comes to styling their new bikes.
It should be one crazy Naked on the streets..

Now bring it in India Kawasaki and please at a decent price point

The ballpark price is a bit MORE than a duke 390 ABS and it probably won't hold a candle to the 390 in acceleration/speed/handling. How exactly does it kill KTM?

If it uses the same engine as the 250R, isn't the low end torque a bit too less for a street fighter?
Looks great. But it'd have been better if they had worked on the rear part as it's just copy-paste from the 250R.

I am sure the engine / ECU is retuned to suite the bike, they just would not have just changed the clothes for sure

This one has got the mean looks and trademark Kawasaki ergo. They for one know how to design bikes and it shows in the character the bikes emanate. I'm sure it will make a great street bike and look at the fuel tank size, humongous 17 ltrs, which is very very useful if someone chooses to tour on this nimble beast.
If they can price it under 2.6L then it will steal some sales from KTM market for sure.

I don't think so, they might sell side by side, also look at the cost factor, 2.4 lac and where is D200, 1.45 lac (on-road) and D390, 2.10 lac (again on-road), almost a lac or so difference between D200 and almost 0.3-0.4 lac difference between the D390, . . May be the Kawasaki might sell less in numbers as compared to the Duke but the Duke position won't be affected. . . If as they say there will be a single cylinder, then that might mean competition

Actually, Kawasaki has never been interested in mass numbers in India. They want a premium spot and they have enjoyed it very well.
Bajaj-KTM is going for the masses and for that, they need to have really competitive pricing. While Kawasaki is only targeting for the premium.
Don't expect anything like 'cheap' from them.

Obviously, D390's pricing wasn't certain then. Now, even I agree that Kwacker wont' affect KTM.
