A difference of INR 50000, must be enough to announce the difference between two bikes coming out of same platform (not just stickers and tail lamp mold)

I am wondering how the Husqvarna 200 will look like? what more tech it can gain to command more premium over the duke? Its already a great package.

I think they will slot Husqvarna below KTM and above Pulsar.

          News says otherwise:

With the P200 being the entry level motorcycle, the Duke 200 being mid-level and Husqvarna being top of the line

I guess the baby Husky will be places above the Duke 200.

I agree with Kochumvk the Duke is a superb package and I too wonder what additions can be added to he bike to gain a premium over the Duke200

The same additions that Ducati made to the Monster to make the (more expensive) Hypermotard. Maybe up the revlimiter slightly too (like they ought to)
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

I'm a huge fan of the husky because of RoyalJordanian the London Biker with a video-blog on Youtube. He has tweeked his ride to sound sweeter than the default exhaust tone and it gives me such a rush.

I was looking to buy a DS 500 but this piece of news has left me in confusion.

Re: Husqvarna Plans 200cc India Model

This could function as a proper dirt track motorcycle, of course not with slicks in place and people can use it for off-roading combined with small touring abilities. Duke 200/390 are still road bikes and this could be the other. There will be some changes to shocks, chassis and wheels to account for this rugged terrain ride ability.
