I guess they wanted to give it a whole new identity and differentiate from the dated Unicorn(though only visually). Think with a business perspective, an Upgraded Dazzler wont gather that much interest among the mass, as much as a whole NEW product can. As far as the existing Dazzler owners are concerned, they already have a good, reliable product, with all engine spares common to trigger. So only thing, they need to be worried about, is the resale value. Now look at the fact- Even at present the Dazzler's resale is less than the Unicorn/Hunk. Honda didn't get the looks right with Dazzler, sadly neither with Trigger. Trigger looks like a downgrade from Dazzler infact, atleast in looks, to me.
I think FZs will still continue to be selling as hot cakes!Comment

I was expecting this commuter bike as a lot of members here thought that Honda will release the Streetfire. But they should have kept the Unicorn somewhere in the name instead of just "Trigger". That speedo console is the oly good thing in this bike according to me. The original Unicorn was really good.Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk ! - Tony Stark

I think honda people have gone mad...they think the design of dazzler ...which is just ~3.5 yr is an old tech then what about honda unicorn a ~9 year model is new???
cannot understand the thinking of honda. they should have transform the old unicorn first.

Honda is going Hero-Honda way. Very soon we will be seeing Unicorn+ Dazzler++ Super Trigger, etc. Might also see many different versions of CBR250R.
Honda has slowly started to go down in my wishlist.
