The company did not provide information on this development either.
They have secured patents for engines between 250 to 1250cc...so why are we expecting just a 250? Maybe a 1250cc monster cruiser (yes, I am over-optimistic!)
But yes, they could do wonders with a Fury II (sequel to the original 175cc Enfield Fury).Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Hold on, hold on...RE, as of now are unable to meet demand due to production constraints, and their new factory will supposedly address it. If they are coming up with another product, I don't see see how they can handle the bookings, if at all their new product hits the right notes. It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

They have only received a patent for twinspark engines in the 250-1250cc range. Nowhere they have mentioned about the probability of new products. Their current lineup, 350cc and 500cc fits the broad classification mentioned above and maybe we can expect a 750 or a liter class cruiser decades down their line. They are only futureproofing their current technology, lest some other manufacturer should come up with a twinspark!Originally posted by srini View PostHold on, hold on...RE, as of now are unable to meet demand due to production constraints, and their new factory will supposedly address it. It's something like Apple patenting 'rectangular device with rounded corners' (if y'all can remember the Apple-Samsung love affair!)Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Replying to this. "
In that case, good luck RE. Increase your production capacity, make customers wait less. And all this patenting drama, I'm happy bajaj moved on with triple sparks (no pun intended and myself a NS owner too) and hopefully Fi for their upcoming flagship. I had the privilege to ride the fury once and if something of sort is coming out in the far future, bring it on REIt all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

I still wonder how RE managed to win a patent for twin spark engines whereas TVS had to stop the production of the Flame 125, which was a twin-spark engine due to pressure from BAL.Originally posted by mid View PostWhats the difference b/w Bajaj dtsi and Enfield's twinspark
